Career Development Center for Students and Graduates of PSUTI was established in 2001.

The main areas of work are:

1. Cooperation with enterprises and organizations acting as employers for students and graduates.
2. Organization of industrial training and pre-graduation practice at info-communication enterprises of the Volga and other regions of the Russian Federation.
3. Assistance in temporary employment of students during extracurricular time.
4. Organization of student labor groups.
5. Assistance in the employment of graduates.
6. Conducting market research, analysis and monitoring of the labor market, assessment of the education quality in close cooperation with employers and university graduates.
7. CDC and PSUTI-TV cooperation with:

• Federal Communications Agency of the Russian Federation;
• Department of Information Technology and Communications of the Samara Region;
• Ministry of Education and Science of the Samara Region;
• Department of Labor and Employment of the Samara Region;
• Coordination and Analytical Center to assist the employment of graduates of vocational education institutions;
• Center of employment of the urban district of Samara;
• The regional headquarters of student labor groups;
• Various youth and public organizations.
